Hit The Coast For Easter Fun

ONE of Australia's best Easter holiday destinations, the mid-north coast, has an impressive array of activities lined up this year.

The region offers a variety of country retreats, farmstays, B&Bs, luxury accommodation, resort, and hotel and motel accommodation.

Events planned for the holiday period include:

* Forster Tuncurry Sportfishing club Annual Convention with a fishing competition at Forster Beach Caravan Park until tomorrow.

* Taree Aquatic Festival until Monday that includes a cabaret, power boat racing, motorcycle light show, sailing displays, street parade, water skiing displays, land boat racing, carnival attractions and sideshows.

* The Camden Haven River Festival until Monday featuring three days of fun at Port Macquarie.
